Under-pressure Coach Giovanni Stroppa is adamant that he won’t quit at struggling Serie A new boys Pescara.
“I’ll still be on the bench come Sunday,” he stated after the 2-0 loss at Chievo Verona. “Then we’ll have to see what happens.
“But what is certain is that I will stay here at this club unless they take me out of the equation.”
Pescara have collected just two wins so far this term and have picked up just one point from the last 12 available.
They will face Parma this weekend before Italian champions Juventus arrive at the Stadio Adriatico.
Stroppa replaced Zdenek Zeman in the summer after the latter opted to re-join Roma.
