Emanuele Giaccherini is adamant that his Juventus side fully deserved the three points in Wednesday’s game against Bologna.

The Old Lady did collect a 2-1 victory in a game they dominated, but only thanks to an injury time strike from Paul Pogba.

“We deserved the victory and we’re happy it came,” Giaccherini, who was given a place in the starting line-up, noted.

“The only regret is the fact that we weren’t able to put the game to bed when we were 1-0 up as anything can happen in these cases.

“We started strongly from the off and fought for every ball. They only had one shot on goal…”
