Rodrigo Palacio couldn’t care less whether he breaks his Juventus taboo – so long as Inter end up as winners on Saturday night.

The Argentine failed to net against the Old Lady during his time at Genoa, but his Bianconero goal drought is the last thing on his mind.

“Obviously I hope to score, but the most important thing is that Inter win the game,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.

“That may sound like a pre-prepared phrase, but it is the truth – the team comes first.”

Inter are now being considered as Juventus’ big title rivals seeing as they are second in the standings, four points behind La Signora.

“If we continue as we are doing then we can fight for the Scudetto,” he added. “But we can’t stop working hard.

“This game comes at the right time for us. We are coming off the back of eight straight wins and we want to win in Turin too.

“We’re going there for all three points. We know it won’t be easy as Juve are strong, but we’ll give it a go and we believe.”
