Stevan Jovetic has been ruled out of action for up to two weeks for Fiorentina after sustaining a grade I muscle injury at the weekend.
The Viola star sustained the injury during his side’s weekend win at home to Cagliari and tests today have revealed that it is a grade I tear that will require up to 14 days to recover from.
It means that the Montenegrin, who has six goals and three assists to his name already this term, will miss his team’s next two fixtures against Milan and Atalanta.
The news was confirmed via a brief statement posted on Fiorentina’s official website.
