Inter are expected to be without Andrea Ranocchia and Walter Samuel for the next three weeks because of injury.
Both men appeared against Juventus on Saturday night despite fitness concerns going into the tie, but they ended the 3-1 victory on the treatment table.
Ranocchia and Samuel underwent scans late on Monday, accompanied by club doctor Franco Combi, which revealed the extent of their injuries.
The Italian international stopper has picked up a calf strain, while the Argentine will be sidelined after he pulled his groin.
