Eliseu plots Milan downfall

Malaga are taking on Milan at San Siro with the intention of making it four wins from four in the Champions League, says Eliseu.

“We need a point to qualify, but we always go out to win and that’s what we intend to do on Tuesday,” the Malaga man noted.

“We are playing to try and win all three points.

“We have no pressure. However, I want to win and it is a very important game for us and for the future of the club.

“We will try to win, but the pressure is on Milan. They are behind us, playing at home and will certainly go out and try to win as a great club and the great team that they are.

“The defeat to Rayo has passed. We were superior, played a great game and now we cannot think about that.”

The midfielder is aware of Italian football given his brief stint at Lazio in 2009-10 – and he is looking forward to playing at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

“It is one of the most beautiful stages in which we could play in the first phase. It is a very important field. Playing at San Siro is special, but we cannot look at the environment.

“It is a very nice stadium, but we want to win.”
