UEFA have given the all-clear after inspecting the San Paolo for reconstruction work, so Napoli’s game with Dnipro will be able to go ahead.
There were official warnings the match, due to be played on Thursday in the Europa League, would only be able to go ahead behind closed doors or with certain sections closed due to security fears.
The club and local council have been working for the last two weeks on reconstruction to fix the areas of concern.
Today UEFA inspectors toured the San Paolo for four hours to check on the adjustments and have given the all-clear.
This evening the official Napoli website announced they “can put tickets on sale for all areas of the San Paolo for Thursday’s match with Dnipro.”
