‘De Rossi not to be touched!’

Anxious Roma fans have unveiled a banner outside of the club’s training ground demanding that Daniele De Rossi not be sold.

The midfielder’s future in the capital has been placed into some doubt this season after a number of incidents.

Boss Zdenek Zeman is refusing to use him as a central midfielder and actually dropped him from the side completely for the win over Atalanta.

Director general Franco Baldini then admitted earlier this week that the club would listen to any eventual offers for the Italian international.

“Baldini, Sabatini, Zeman: DDR is not to be touched!” stated the slogan hanging outside the gates of Trigoria.

Walter Sabatini is the club’s sporting director who is in charge of transfers.

De Rossi is already being linked with a January move to Paris Saint-Germain, while he’s also liked in England.
