Sampdoria’s next three games will say a lot about the path their championship will take, says defender Daniele Gastaldello.
Doria are in a slump having lost their last six League games, but they have matches against the equally struggling Palermo, Genoa and Bologna coming up.
“Our next three ties are against sides who are below us in the table right now,” the stopper told Primo Canale Sport.
“We will be playing for a lot in those encounters – three matches that could cancel all of the good or bad that we have done so far.
“We need points like man needs bread in order to achieve our objective of staying in Serie A this season.”
Samp are fifteenth in the table with 10 points – they started the season on -1 – after three wins and two draws from their 11 matches so far.
