Borriello in Genoa-Napoli squad

Marco Borriello is surprisingly in the squad for Genoa’s game against Napoli, although he was not expected to be fit for several weeks yet.

The striker was ruled out for six weeks when he badly sprained his ankle during the home defeat to Roma on October 21.

However, Borriello is in the list of players called up by Coach Gigi Del Neri for the Sunday afternoon kick-off.

Del Neri had said in his Press conference that he was hoping to have Marco Rossi back, but the captain has still not fully recovered.

Michele Canini is there despite picking up a knock in training, but Juan Manuel Vargas, Damiano Ferronetti, Cristobal Jorquera and Anselmo are left at home.

Cesare Bovo also sits out a ban.

Genoa squad for Napoli: 13 Antonelli, 91 Bertolacci, 22 Borriello, 21 Canini, 32 Donnarumma, 1 Frey, 5 Granqvist, 16 Hallenius, 17 Immobile, 11 Jankovic, 15 Krajnc, 33 Kucka, 9 Melazzi, 10 Merkel, 24 Moretti, 18 Piscitella, 23 Said, 31 Sampirisi, 14 Seymour, 28 Tozser, 30 Tzorvas
