Alessandro Del Piero’s time at Sydney FC has taken a turn for the worse, as Coach Ian Crook quit after a series of defeats.

The team has shown it struggles badly without their star signing, as Del Piero was absent for a 7-2 thumping by Central Coast and when he was substituted they went from winning to eventually losing 3-2 to arch rivals Melbourne Victory.
