Berlusconi fires up Milan with visit

Milan President Silvio Berlusconi gave the struggling squad a pep talk on Friday after he turned up at Milanello.

The former Italian Prime Minister arrived at their training base via helicopter where he watched a section of the session before taking centre-stage.

Berlusconi wanted to motivate the players and Coach Massimilano Allegri following their problematic start to the season.

After selling Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as well as waving goodbye to a host of veteran players, the Diavolo have struggled.

They currently find themselves in the bottom half of the table after losing six of their first 12 games so far.

The Rossoneri face a tricky trip to Napoli this weekend.
