Roma have announced a sponsorship deal with German car manufacturer Volkswagen, starting as of next season.
The Giallorossi have signed a one-year deal with the automotive giants, that can be extended on an annual basis, but have yet to confirm whether the capital club will replace their current shirt sponsors Wind with the 'W' of Volkswagen.
“We are delighted to announce this agreement with an incredible partner,” Roma's marketing director Mark Pannes told reporters today. “With this we hope to continue the internationalisation of Roma.
“There are no plans [to use the W on the shirts], but we will not rule anything out.”
