Hugo Campagnaro will probably sign the last contract of his career with current club Napoli, his agent has suggested.
The 32-year-old is only tied to the Stadio San Paolo outfit until June which means he could join another club on a Bosman at the end of the season.
However, speaking with Radio CRC, Alejandro Mazzoni says there is plenty of time to reach a new agreement with the Azzurri.
“We are working on a renewal,” Mazzoni noted. “It will probably be the last contract of my client’s career and we can’t be rushed.
“I’m optimistic that he will remain, even if I can confirm that there are a lot of sides interested in his services.
“We have a good relationship with Napoli, we are discussing things with tranquillity and we are in no rush whatsoever.”
Campagnaro, who has played in 13 League games this season, joined the Naples outfit in 2009 from Sampdoria.
