Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin has no regrets about how well co-owned Antonio Candreva is doing for Lazio.
The two teams meet at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday and Candreva has developed into a key capital player since his January move.
“His technical skills have never been in any kind of doubt,” the former Parma boss stated on Monday afternoon.
“He has found that certainty and that faith that he has been looking for over these years. Roma is the ideal environment for him.”
Candreva, born in February 1987, was first signed by Udinese back in 2007 after a spell with little Ternana.
However, he played just eight games for the Bianconeri before being loaned to Livorno, Juventus, Parma and Cesena.
Now back in the Italian national set-up, Candreva has scored three goals in 13 League games so far this season.
