Cambiasso wants Sneijder resolution

Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso has urged the club and Wesley Sneijder to quickly settle their differences.

Sneijder has been told that he won’t play for the outfit again until he accepts a cut to his €6m a season contract.

“We are all hoping that the Sneijder situation can be resolved as soon as possible,” Cambiasso commented.

“We all know how much he is worth to our team.

“It is now something that the club and the player need to evaluate in private.”

Sneijder is back to full fitness, but was missing from the defeat to Parma – despite the absence of the suspended Antonio Cassano.

“It has always been difficult for us to get a result at Parma,” the Argentine added after Monday’s 1-0 defeat.

“But we are still there in the League table and this Inter has to fight for the top spots. Sometimes you play well, sometimes badly.”

The Beneamata are joint third in the table, four points behind leaders Juventus.
