Porto turned down an offer from Italian giants Roma for Rolando, the player has revealed.
Speaking to The National, the 27-year-old confirmed whispers that he was wanted by the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
“I don’t understand why the club rejected an €8m offer from Roma for me,” stated the Portuguese international.
“They did that and then told me that I could go on loan to QPR for a fee of €2m, with an option to buy set at €10m...”
Rolando joined Porto in 2008 after five years with Belenenses.
