Maurizio Domizzi has been diagnosed with a thigh strain, adding to Udinese’s injury problems.
The defender limped off during the first half of their 3-0 defeat to Lazio on Tuesday evening and the club confirmed tests had shown a lesion to the right thigh muscle.
It is believed this sort of injury will keep Domizzi out of action for around three weeks.
Udinese are already struggling with absentees, as Mehdi Benatia, Giampiero Pinzi, Andrea Lazzari, Luis Muriel, Dusan Basta and Pablo Armero are only in light training.
