Valon Behrami insists that the Scudetto chase is more than a two-horse race. “It’s not just between Juventus and my Napoli.”
The Azzurri are mounting a serious title challenge and are only two points behind Italian champions and current leaders Juve.
But the Swiss international is adamant that a number of teams have a chance of ending the season with the championship.
“There is not just us and Juve,” the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia. “Fiorentina are playing really well, while there is Inter and Lazio too.
“The championship is wide open and there is not just one team who can rival Juventus. Consistency is what will make the difference this season.”
Despite those views, Behrami has underlined that the Turin giants are still the team to beat even after recent losses to Inter and Milan.
“They will be the strongest if they can keep up their rhythm,” he added. “They have a modern style of play that puts teams into difficulty.
“We have excellent individual players, but we have to always give 110 per cent to keep up with them.”
