Udinese midfielder Giampiero Pinzi has conceded that the club have suffered a poor start to the season.
The Zebrette sit in ninth place in Serie A, having won just four of their first 15 games, but the 31-year-old does believe there are reasons behind the malaise.
“This year we have been hit by so many injuries to important players,” he told Udinese Channel. “But we have started to respond well.”
He then went on to comment on the team's 4-1 over Cagliari last Sunday.
“We played really well against Cagliari,” he said. “Now we have to continue like this and try to find salvation as soon as possible.”
