Leonardo Bonucci has rejected talk that Juventus will be playing for a draw at Shakhtar Donetsk this evening.
A point in the Ukraine will be enough for the hosts to win the group and the Italian outfit to qualify second, thus knocking champions Chelsea out of the competition.
However, the centre-back has defended his side against accusations that they will play out a convenient draw.
“These things make me laugh,” the Italian international noted. “Juventus are a great side who always play to win. And Shakhtar will not be giving out gifts.
“I can understand why Chelsea fans fear elimination, but they have to take that out on their own team…”
