The agent of Alexander Merkel says he knows nothing of rumours that the Genoa man is wanted by Udinese.
Reports insist that the German could move to the Stadio Friuli in January as part of the deal that may see Antonio Floro Flores, currently on loan at Granada, move in the opposite direction.
“I’m not able to say anything about Merkel’s situation,” agent Fabio Parisi stated. “I’ve been in Miami for five days and I haven’t spoken to anyone.
“I’ve not been in touch with the player and Genoa have not been in touch with me.”
The 20-year-old returned to Marassi this summer after spending the second half of last season at Milan.
He’s only appeared in five games for the struggling outfit this term, scoring one goal in the process.
