Inter’s Esteban Cambiasso says he feels at home when he’s asked to play in defence rather than his usual midfield position.
The Argentine was again used at the back in the Europa League on Thursday and he insists that isn’t a problem for him.
“It’s up to the Coach where I play,” the former Real Madrid enforcer stated. “One of my few strengths is that I put the team first.
“I was open to this option and that's how it should be.
“I've never felt out of place in that position because I played there as a kid and on the odd occasion when we were short under Jose Mourinho or Leonardo.”
