Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro has claimed that fans no longer see him as 'brother of Fabio' after his performances for the Partenopei.
The 31-year-old has played over 200 League games for the San Paolo side and has admitted that he has his own identity as a player.
“I am no longer thought of as Fabio's brother,” he told Rai Sport. “People perceived me as that when I arrived, but now I have my own identity – captain of Napoli.”
He also commented on Sunday's match with Inter, and remarked on Coach Walter Mazzarri.
“[Juventus sporting director] Giuseppe Marotta has referred to us as the 'anti-Juve, but I think that Inter are,” he said.
“We must not think that they are tired [because of their Europa League exerts], and we must fear them for their quality.
“Mazzarri does everything for the team and the team does everything for him.”
