Juventus are once again making a possibly doomed bid to sign Didier Drogba on loan from Shanghai Shenhua.
The Ivory Coast international has been pin-pointed as the ideal low-cost addition to the squad for their Champions League and Serie A campaigns.
The Bianconeri have felt the lack of a ‘top player’ in their front line and Drogba has long been linked with Juve.
According to Tuttosport newspaper, general manager Beppe Marotta is again trying to convince Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua to release Drogba on loan in January.
He is currently training with his former Chelsea teammates to stay in shape ahead of the African Cup of Nations.
