Former Inter and Roma striker Adriano admits that he misses the world of Italian football.

The troubled Brazilian is currently without a club after he left Brazilian outfit Flamengo last month.

“I do think about a return to Italy,” the 30-year-old told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “The best moments of my life were there.

“I have great memories of Italy. At times I speak with my former Inter teammates and I also heard from one of my former Coaches the other day.

“I have nostalgia for the food, the people and the fans. I will never forget my time there.”

Adriano played for Serie A clubs such as Parma, Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”8″>Fiorentina and Roma, but his best football came with the Nerazzurri.

“They are part of my life,” he added. “I watch them on television when I get the chance. I saw their win over Palermo.”

Adriano added that he intends to resume his career at the start of 2013 with an, as of yet, unidentified Brazilian club.
