The agent of Giuseppe Rossi doesn’t expect his client to make a move during the January transfer window.
The Villarreal man is currently recovering from his second knee ligament operation and there was talk that he could switch to a new outfit after Christmas.
However, his representative has told Radio Toscana that a switch to Serie A isn’t on the cards at this moment in time.
“Rossi should be back playing again by about mid-March,” Federico Pastorello commented.
“Up until now, we haven’t received any concrete offers for the player that we are happy with.
“He’s really liked by the Inter officials, but I can exclude any developments during the next transfer session.
“Fiorentina? There has been no real interest from them for Giuseppe Rossi.”
The Italian international would be available for transfer given that Villarreal were relegated from the Primera last season.
