Ciro Immobile’s representative has doubts that relegation-threatened Genoa will want to release his client during January.
The Italian Under-21 international is being linked with the likes of Napoli, Palermo and Pescara, but a switch doesn’t seem on the horizon.
“I don’t believe that Genoa want to deprive themselves of him,” Alessandro Moggi told Radio CRC on Thursday.
“Let us not forget that this is his first year in Serie A and, despite everything, he’s began a good path for growth.
“It’s pleasing to hear compliments from other clubs, but I don’t think he will leave Genoa in January. At this moment there is no chance of that happening.”
The 22-year-old, co-owned with Juventus, has scored four goals in 16 games for the side currently second from bottom in Serie A.
