Milan insist they won’t sell Robinho, but Santos are confident “negotiations are continuing and this is not over.”
The striker confessed he is missing Brazil and would like a return to his former club, where he won the title in 2002, but the Rossoneri do not intend to sell for less than €10m.
“We are talking every day,” assured Santos President Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Ribeiro in Globo Esporte.
“At the moment it’s like a game of chess, moving pieces here and there with the hope of finding a solution.
“We made our formal proposal and Milan sent back their reply, but the negotiations are continuing and this is not over.”
