Gian Piero Gasperini vented his fury at the referees after Palermo “threw away two points” in Udine.

The Rosanero were a minute away from securing their first away victory of the season, but Antonio Di Natale wiped out a Josip Ilicic opener.

“I am angry at the wasted chances and the refereeing errors. We threw away two points,” said the Coach.

Ilicic appeared to be tripped in the first half, but he was only booked for simulation.

“It was a clear penalty and the referees were in the right position, so I don’t understand how they failed to see it.”
