Francesco Guidolin held up his hands after Udinese’s last-gasp equaliser and confessed “Palermo played better. We didn’t deserve that point.”
The Friulani snatched a 1-1 draw with Antonio Di Natale at the 89th minute after going down to 10 men and Palermo were denied a penalty.
“It is only right to say that Palermo played better. I am happy for the point, but absolutely disappointed in terms of performance,” said Guidolin.
“We didn’t deserve that point and were lucky today. We should always be hungry, even starving, for a result. We weren’t today.
“Palermo were coming off two defeats and showed some great football. We need to find our physical and mental form as soon as possible.”
