Napoli do like Siena stopper Luís Carlos Novo Neto, but his agent has insisted that there has been no January bid.
“For now, Neto is a Siena player and he hasn’t received any offer from Napoli or any other club,” Bruno Carvalho told Radio CRC.
“However, it is possible to open up a negotiation with the Siena sporting director as Neto likes playing in Italy.
“Napoli are a great club, with a big history behind them and a fantastic set of supporters,” the representative continued.
“I can confirm that they like him and he could do well in Azzurro because my client can play in a three-man defence.”
The Portuguese stopper, 24-years-old, has been a revelation in Serie A since his summer move from Nacional.
Neto has scored one goal in 16 appearances for the Tuscan minnows.
