Cristiano Bergodi admits he has an injury crisis to deal with as Pescara go into tomorrow’s Serie A game with Catania.
The Delfini are struggling to stay afloat even after he replaced Coach Giovanni Stroppa. Click here for a match preview, it kicks off at 17.00 GMT.
“We have a few problems picking a side, but at least Giuseppe Colucci is back for the bench,” said Bergodi.
Uros Cosic, Simone Romagnoli, Emmanuel Cascione, Manuele Blasi and Ante Vukusic are all unavailable.
“The attitude counts, but we will adopt the 4-3-1-2 or the 4-3-2-1 system, both of which worked well. I’ll decide at the last minute who will partner Elvis Abbruscato in attack.
“We need the utmost concentration against Catania, as they have a dangerous quality midfield and are strong on set plays. It is crucial that we start out strong, as recently we have got it wrong at the beginning.
“I know their Coach Rolando Maran, as we did our coaching course together. Even if Gonzalo Bergessio is injured, Catania still have some great strikers at their disposal.”
Pescara squad for Catania: Pelizzoli, Perin; Balzano, Bocchetti, Capuano, Crescenzi, Modesto, Terlizzi, Zanon; Bjarnason, Colucci, Nielsen, Quintero, Togni; Abbruscato, Brugman, Caprari, Celik, Jonathas, Soddimo, Weiss
