Sampdoria sporting director Carlo Osti has denied rumours that midfielder Pedro Obiang will leave the club in January.
The Spanish youngster has been linked heavily with a move to Napoli during the winter break, but the 54-year-old has quashed those reports.
“A lot of Italian clubs are interested in Obiang,” he told Radio Crc. “But I do not think he will leave the club in January.
“We will return to work on January 7 and then we will assess the situation from there.”
