Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi has blasted Roma boss Zdenek Zeman. “He must stop stirring up controversy and suspicion.”

Zeman once again brought up his criticism of “the winds from the North” yesterday, a phrase he already used many years ago to describe the power clubs from Milan and Turin hold.

“He must stop stirring up controversy and suspicion,” slammed Ghirardi.

“The referees are doing a good job in this campaign, even though they are working on it and will inevitably make a few mistakes.

“We too could’ve recriminated, but we are in eighth place because of what we did on the field and not down to mistakes or refereeing gifts. People have to stop trying to create controversy.”
