Inter defender Alvaro Pereira has claimed that he has enjoyed his first few months in Italy following his summer move from Porto.
The Uruguay international has only played a bit-part for the Nerazzurri this season, starting just eight League games.
And the 27-year-old has admitted that he could do more for Andrea Stramaccioni's side.
“It's been great here so far,” he told Il Giornale. “But I feel I could do a better job for the team.
“If you think only of yourself, you will not reach the highest levels of the game. When you make a mistake you have to be self-critical and try to understand what has gone wrong.
“It's like when you get knocked out in boxing – you don't have time to think, you just have to get back up and fight.
“Inter is in my heart. Being here for me is a great prize. I am living a dream.”
