Fiorentina and Milan face competition from Malaga and others for Anderlecht midfield star Lucas Biglia.
The two Serie A sides have been repeatedly linked with the 27-year-old Argentine maestro.
According to Belgian sports paper Sporza, they face stiff competition from Spanish club Malaga.
Others interested in swooping for Biglia include Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.
The player is under contract with Anderlecht until June 2015 and has been valued at around €10m.
He would be particularly valuable for Serie A teams, as he has an Italian passport.
However, Biglia has already played in the Champions League for Anderlecht in Milan’s group this season, so would be ineligible for Europe.
