As expected, Udinese have officially signed Alexander Merkel and Masahadu Alhassan from Genoa.
The Friulani had agreed terms several days ago, but the personal terms were only finalised today with an official note on the club website.
Former Milan midfielder Merkel arrives in a co-ownership deal and the German has signed a five-year contract.
Udinese also confirmed they have signed Ghanaian winger Alhassan from Genoa in another co-ownership agreement. He too has penned a five-year deal.
However, Alhassan will remain on loan for the next six months at Novara, where he had already started the season.
