Milan have had to completely reshuffle their defence for tonight’s encounter with Siena at San Siro.

The Rossoneri lost Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonini to injury just before this game, which kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

They join Alessandro Nesta, Mario Yepes, Gianluca Zambrotta, Christian Abbiati, Antonio Cassano, Gennaro Gattuso and Mathieu Flamini.

It means Coach Massimiliano Allegri has had to revamp the back four, giving Philippe Mexes his first Serie A start for the club and moving Daniele Bonera to right-back.

Siena hope to end their run of three consecutive defeats, but are without Simone Vergassola and Nicola Belmonte.

Franco Brienza is moved into a more advanced role in support of Emanuele Calaiò.

Milan: Amelia; Bonera, Mexes, Thiago Silva, Taiwo; Seedorf, Van Bommel, Nocerino; Boateng; Ibrahimovic, Robinho
Siena: Brkic; Vitiello, Rossettini, Terzi, Del Grosso; Angelo, Bolzoni, Gazzi, Reginaldo; Brienza, Calaiò
