Galatasaray President Unal Aysal has admitted that the club are interested in Inter playmaker Wesley Sneijder.

And the Turkish club's leader has conceded that he would be keen on bringing the former Real Madrid man to Istanbul after he met Massimo Moratti this afternoon.

“We talked about many things,” he told reporters. “From youth policy to the possibility of establishing a partnership between the two clubs.

“And we talked about Sneijder, of course.

“I instructed my team to sit down and try to negotiate, but I think everything will be clearer in the next few days.”

The Aslan have also been linked with Milan duo Djamel Mesbah and Luca Antonini over the past few days.
