Wesley Sneijder’s agent has refused to discuss Galatasaray’s interest in signing the frozen out Inter midfielder.
The Turkish club confirmed on Tuesday that they are in discussions with a player who no longer features in the plans of Andrea Stramaccioni or the outfit.
Sneijder has also openly turned down the Italian club’s invitation to cut his salary by €2m a season.
“There is a new club linked with Wesley on a daily basis,” Soren Lerby told De Teelegraf. “For this reason I will not be answering any questions about a transfer.”
Galatasaray chief Unal Aysal met with Inter chief Massimo Moratti this week to discuss a possible deal for the former Real Madrid man.
