Davide Santon is ready to reject the advances of Milan in order to continue his career with Newcastle United.
The full-back has been highlighted by President Silvio Berlusconi as the type of young player that the Diavolo are now targeting in the transfer market.
However, the former Inter man has told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle that he has no immediate desire to play his football at San Siro again.
“I am happy at the club,” the 22-year-old stated. “I have had a year and a half here. I really enjoy it.
“This is really important for a young player. We are a young team here and we are growing together. That will only make us stronger in the long-term.”
