Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has applauded his side’s efforts in Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat at Juventus.
The Rossoneri were knocked out of the Coppa Italia last night following extra-time, but the official was pleased with what he saw.
“We had more possession and more chances than Juventus,” Galliani noted. “And I’m happy about the performance as we played well.
“It’s just a shame because this is the second time in a year that we’ve played well here, but lost out to Juve in extra-time.
“It’s disappointing how it ended, especially because we also had that great chance from Bakaye Traore at the end.
“Now we just have to think about the League game against Sampdoria at the weekend.”
