Former Italian Under-21 boss Gigi Casiraghi has applauded Milan for their Riccardo Saponara swoop.
The Diavolo have signed Empoli’s 50 per cent share in the player, who is co-owned with Parma, and he’ll move to San Siro in July.
“He is emerging in a difficult championship like Serie B,” the former Juventus and Chelsea striker, talking to Sky Sport Italia, said of the wide player.
“He has it all – technique, pace and a good sense of where the goal is. He is certainly a good signing for Milan.”
Saponara, born in December 1991, will cost the Diavolo around €4m.
