Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi is confident that he won’t need to replace Roberto Donadoni in the summer.
The tactician is contracted to the Stadio Tardini outfit until June 2015, but he’s been mentioned as a possible successor to Massimiliano Allegri at Milan ahead of 2013-14.
“I’ve got to know Donadoni as a Coach,” the Gialloblu chief told Radio Anch’Io Lo Sport on Monday morning. “And he was under no obligation to extend his contract as he did.
“I think that he’ll stay with us for at least one more season and I would be very surprised if that was not the case.
“I’m saying that because those are the indications that I have from him. I’m relatively calm because I know him as a man.”
The former Livorno, Napoli and Italy tactician was appointed by the club in January 2012.
