Catania have underlined that they will not consider any January offers for playmaker Francesco Lodi.
Milan and Inter are two clubs who have made enquiries for the 28-year-old, but the Sicilian club have refused to negotiate.
“The rumours about Lodi leaving are a waste of breath and a waste of time,” President Antonino Pulvirenti told the Corriere dello Sport.
“There is no chance that Catania will make a change to the technical project which we started in July. All offers have been returned to sender.
“Only next July will we evaluate any offers – should there be any – for our players.”
The No 10, four goals in 19 League games this term, joined Catania in 2011 after spells at Empoli, Udinese and Frosinone.
