Brazilian club Gremio have sent officials to Italy in a bid to snap up Roma’s Marco Marquinho this month.
Rogerio Braun and Stefano Castagnos have touched down in the Italian capital with the task of taking the 26-year-old back to South America with them.
Marquinho has one goal in 13 League appearances this term, but the ex-Fluminense player has come on as a substitute in 11 of those.
Marquinho has been left out of the squad for tonight’s Coppa Italia game at Fiorentina for disciplinary reasons following his reaction to being replaced at Catania on Sunday.
