Fiorentina have officially announced the signing of Marcelo Larrondo on-loan from Siena.

The 24-year-old joins the Viola until the end of the season, at which point Vincenzo Montella's side will have the option to buy him outright.

A statement on the club's official website read: “ACF Fiorentina can announce that we have acquired the right to Marcelo Larrondo on-loan from Siena, with the right to sign.

“The striker will wear the No. 18 shirt.”
