Roma stopper Marcos Marquinhos is confident that his club are still fighting for third place in Serie A.
Qualifying for next season’s Champions League is the objective in the capital, but they have slipped from sixth to seventh after the 1-1 draw with Inter on Sunday.
“Third place is some distance away today, but we have to believe until the very end of the season,” he stated.
“We have to grow like any other team and we train every day in order to do that and get the best results possible.
“Now it is important that we don’t under-estimate any game.”
Roma are currently 10 points behind Napoli and Lazio who are in joint second behind League leaders Juventus.
