Roma stopper Marcos Marquinhos is confident that his club are still fighting for third place in Serie A.

Qualifying for next season’s Champions League is the objective in the capital, but they have slipped from sixth to seventh after the 1-1 draw with Inter on Sunday.

“Third place is some distance away today, but we have to believe until the very end of the season,” he stated.
