Milan youngster Stephan El Shaarawy has revealed that the club's former midfielder Kaka was his idol growing up.
The Brazilian playmaker has been linked with a move back to San Siro over the January transfer window.
And the 20-year-old striker has admitted that the trequarista was influential for him growing up, whilst also highlighting some of his favourite Rossoneri moments.
“My idol growing up was Kaka,” he told Forza Milan magazine. “No doubt about it. The game I remember the most as a youngster was the Champions League final against Juventus in 2003.
“That is a memory that gives me the greatest pleasure.
“As a player though, the game I will remember with the greatest fondness was when I scored my first goal against Udinese.
“I've been a Rossoneri fan since I was a child. They've always been my favourite club.”
